Using large wood in flood risk reduction and habitat restoration projects


Join King County Water and Land Resources Division for a presentation of upcoming projects that include the use of large wood in rivers to reduce flood risks and improve habitat.

The online meeting will feature presentations about five project designs for the Cedar and Snoqualmie rivers and Issaquah Creek. The meeting is geared toward neighbors of upcoming projects and river safety or recreation enthusiasts. Comments and questions are welcome.

A Q&A session will be held after presentations on the following projects:
